Here is the lineup for our Great Garden Series for 2026. Presentations take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month from April through October. All presentations are free of charge and take place at the Durango Public Library. Printable PDF

Dedication Ceremony (24 Sep 2026)

Join the Durango Botanic Gardens on September 24 as we celebrate our recently completed Community Venue Garden! This event is free of charge. This new garden will provide valuable outdoor venue space, available for rent by the public, amid our beautiful gardens. Reservations for using the stage will be available soon through the Durango Library reservation system.

The event begins at 5:00, but come early and listen to musicians from Durango-based Celtic band, Tom Ward's Downfall! Docent-led tours of the garden will also be available. SEE YOU THERE!

While registration is FREE for members of the Durango Botanic Gardens and the La Plata County Tree Study Group, we do ask that you register. Only registrants will be admiited. Non-members of either organization, please register at the nominal fee of $10. Click HERE for a pdf of the flyer.
