May1, 2pm-3pm            "Get Your Vegetable Garden Started" with Darrin Parmenter, The Great Garden Series FREE at the                                                              Durango Public Library sponsored by the Durango Public Library, The La Plata County Extension Office, and the Durango Botanical Society.

May 25, 9am-2pm           DBS Garage Sale! Huge multi-family garage sale with tools, baby items, good quality clothes, sports                                                                equipment.  Come check it out!  FREE at the Durango Public Library.

June 5, 6pm-7:30pm     "Good Bugs vsBad Bugs" with Kami Larson, The Great Garden Series.  FREE at the Durango Public Library.

June 19, 6pm - 7:30pm  "Revolutionize your Landscape & Hydrate Your Land" with Eva Montane.  FREE at the Public Library.

June 22, 9am-3pm          Gardens on Tour, The 8thAnnual Tour returns this year! We have 8 fabulous private gardens throughout                                                    town, beginning at the Durango Botanic Gardens' new Arboreta located at the Public Library.

July 10, 2pm-3pm          "Creating Rock Art" with Melissa Kizior, The Great Garden Series.  FREE at the Durango Public Library.

August 7, 6pm-7pm       "Plant This, NOT That"with Mike Smedley, The Great Garden Series.  FREE at the Durango Public Library.

August 10, 11am- 2pm    Member Appreciation Party,Let DBS Thank You! Docent led garden tours, BBQ, Children's activities, Silent  Auction Raffle, Meet our newest class of Docents. FREE at the Durango Public Library.

August 24, 9am-4pm      PhotographyWorkshop with David Porter. Join  this wonderful photographer and learn how to take both                                                   indoor and outdoor photos of flowers with your camera and/or your cell phone! September 4, 2-3:30pm   "All About Herbs" with Camilla Potter, The Great Garden Series. FREE at the Durango Public Library.

October 19, 10am-1pm  Annual Bulb SaleOver 10,000 Bulbs directly from Holland specifically chosen for Durango's                                                        challenging environment! Mike Smedley will start the day off at 9:00am with an entertaining talk                                                    on bulbs-not to be missed.  Sale Doors open at 10:00!
