Learn Propagation techniques in this easy workshop

Come work your green thumb, this is a hands on experience.

Instructor Jeff Wagner is a respected propagator and native plant expert. Jeff said “ Propagating plants is one of the most interesting and rewarding aspects of gardening. It is fun and magical.” Learn how to successfully collect, store and grow cuttings from woody plants. Learn the right way to germinate seeds from almost any plant that catches your eye. This class is a great way to begin the new season. You will take home many new plants that you have propagated yourself. Jeff is a Durango Botanical Society Board Member and Director of Education. This regional expert will be assisted by DBS Docent Marye Jackson, a founding Board Member of DBS, Colorado Master Gardener & lifelong garden enthusiast. These two make learning fun! What an appropriate way to kick off the season. Join Jeff and Marye for a great Saturday morning.

All supplies are provided.

Proceeds from the workshop go toward the maintenance of the The Library Demonstration Garden. Join the Durango Botanical Society and get a discount on the class and any plants you may purchase.
