Donations are crucial to the success of our mission

Donations are crucial to the success of our mission: Creating public gardens for demonstration, education, and inspiration. The Durango Botanic Gardens is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.  All of our workers and staff are volunteers and our gardens are built and maintained largely with donations. Make a general donation or target your donation to a number of options (listed below). Tax regulations related to charitable deductions have changed, some of them favorable to nonprofit donations.  Donor Advised Funds are becoming a popular way to donate to the gardens.

General Donation

General donations are welcome.  Select this option if you wish to give us the flexibility to apply where most needed.  Thanks!

Bookcase Stones
Add Your Name to Our Bookcase Stone "Library"

Another way to marry our library and our hardscaping is with these bookcase stones that rest on steel shelves. Benefactors may enscribe their names, their organization's name, or the names of loved ones on these truly long-lasting "book" spines. Celebrate your love of books and gardens at the same time. A bookcase stone donation is available at $400.
