Barbara Tobin Klema the instructor for our Botanical Illustration Program will teach you how to increase your skills in the Plein Aire  techniques. Bring your sketch books, pencils and eraser, plus any other drawing implements of choice such as water colors, pens Watercolor pencils or colored pencils. 
Barbara will also cover writing and how to create  journals to cherish forever. Track your garden's progress through your own drawings and entries. You will create a keepsake. 
This day is divided into two sessions 10-12 and 1-3 each session is different.

$25.00 non members $20.00 members $40.00/$30.00 for two classes.
Morning and afternoon classes are different.

Our Location:

The Durango Botanic Gardens are physically located at the Durango Public Library, to the north and east of the library.  The library is located at 1900 E. 3rd Ave., Durango.

There is no admission charge.  Stroll the gardens yourself (there is ample signage in most gardens) or call us at 970-880-4841 to arrange a group tour. See the About Us Tab for more.
