Crowdfunding Kickoff!

We are completing the first phase of the new Durango Botanic Gardens at the Library (DuBG). The Crevice Garden Along the Trail and the Gabbro Miniature Conifer Garden will complete the Demonstration Garden and these gardens will be the connection to the new DuBG. If you have not walked the trail or visited the library recently please come by and view these exceptional award winning gardens.They are an asset to our community and a legacy to future generations.

From a pile of rocks to an outdoor education and learning center.

This Crevice Garden and Gabbro Garden are receiving national recognition because of their location on the trail. They are the most viewed crevice gardens in the state of Colorado. Come see our progress!

The Library Advisory Board and Friends of the Library have donated $10,300 to this phase of development. We are asking our community for help in matching these funds.

Durango Botanical Society is a 100% volunteer organization and all funds are used to develop public gardens.
