The Durango Botanic Gardens (DBG), founded in 2010, create and maintain the gardens around the Durango Public Library.  We are an all-volunteer, community funded organization dedicated to bringing public gardens to Durango and the Four Corners area.   As a non-profit, our mission to serve the community includes education and inspiration.   We provide information and events to assist the local homeowner in determining the trees, bushes and flowers that will thrive in your own yard.  Become a member, enjoy local discounts and the camaraderie of other garden enthusiasts.

We invite you to stroll through the garden on a warm, winter afternoon.  Listen to the birds singing and the river splashing.  Even when sleeping, our gardens—your gardens—are relaxing and tranquil.
